Love formed
Fixed and stayed
On a golden
Altar laid
Molded, crafted
Custom made
Closeted
Kept and saved
Moses on the
Mountain now
Like before, he
Could come down
Though I love
This calf of mine

A note from Abi: This poem interacts with the idea of heart idols and how difficult it can be to let them go, using the Mount Sinai story (Exodus 32) as a backdrop.
